Reviews written by Ryan97 Fantastic Carving Wheels!, Monday, 28 July 2008 But go with 81a or higher, the 78a is just too damn grippy. Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: Month and a halfWhat Setup are you running them on?: Homemade 38in deck, Bear 852s, and Biltins Typical Discepline?: hard carving, light downhill, little garage action How much did you pay for them?: 40 USD Where did you buy them?: LBS What are their weaknesses?: Can't seem to ride out of a slide with them, I can slide, but rarely will it not be a complete stop. A little smaller than I like to ride. What are their strengths?: Fantastic grip!! I have never slid out unless I really throw my weight into them. Very manuverable, and they have that sweet Abec 11 lime green color! What similar equipment have you ridden?: Zig Zags, but those are off-set.... Would you recommend them?: Yes Sweet Carver, Monday, 28 July 2008 But I'd recommend the 38in version, I've tried it and like it more. Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 1 monthWhat is your setup like?: Bear 852's, Grippins, and Biltins Typical Session Discipline: Carving, Commuting How much did you pay?: $95 Where did you purchase it?: LBS What were the strengths of the deck.: Great flex, helps rail those carves, functional wheel cut-outs, very comfy ride because the flex dampens bumps. What were the weaknesses?: Doesn't seem all to durable (but I don't know yet), not very stable. Similar decks you have ridden?: My super sweet homemade carver Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 2 of 2 |
