Reviews written by SchizoSk8s My 2nd longboard, Monday, 21 September 2009 Maybe for carving on several feet of risers and small wheels. Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 3 monthsWhat is your setup like?: randall 150's, bones bombers Typical Session Discipline: downhill, commuter How much did you pay?: don't remember Where did you purchase it?: TVS What were the strengths of the deck.: Looks really cool. Probably great for pool and ramp. What were the weaknesses?: DON"T DOWNHILL ON IT!!!! duhh I know NOW! But when I was noob, I took it 25 and discovered I need a better board for downhill. Had a tough time pumping it as well. Lots of wbeel bite. Lets just say I learned a lot about what NOT to do with a board like this. Similar decks you have ridden?: None before, and satan forbid, none after Would you recommend it?: Undecided Full of surprises 2, Monday, 13 April 2009 much wheel/shoe bite but will probally be to slow. For all the friggin money I've spent trying to dial this ride I could've gotten a much better board. (is flexdex flooding the net with good reviews or what?!) Like I said in my previous review, my initial response was way more positive than now. I suppose when I get my seismics going again I'll have more fun. If you are 200 lbs and size 13 I would stay away. Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Several weeks nowWhat is your setup like?: First it was Seismics w Otang 4 prez, then (after ruining threads on Seismic kingpins trying to change springs w/out reading labor intensive "easy" directions) indie 150, indie 10' =crap. Old G.W. sidewinders, fair ( until rotting pivit cup gave out). Awaiting adhesive to dry on Khiro 2' kingpin switched on indies to accommodate venom bushings. Mucho wheel/shoe bite/ pain and suffering w larger wheels tried zig zag 66's and got kingpin bite (ouch!) so until my seismic replacement parts come in, no more flexdex. Typical Session Discipline: Garages/ transpo How much did you pay?: see previous review Where did you purchase it?: etc What were the strengths of the deck.: with right set up, transpo, some pumping, but a bit soggy. Don't need much of an incline and you feel like you're on a friggin way bigger hill. Water proof. What were the weaknesses?: A bit soggy at times, can be frustrating with wrong set up (see above) Similar decks you have ridden?: Gravity mini's, Howell fiberglass. various cambers Would you recommend it?: Undecided Fun as hell on wheels!, Friday, 27 March 2009 you want them to go when you want them to with no slop. No more no less. Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: A weekWhat Setup are you running them on?: Flexdex slalom Otangs 4 prez, Bones Swiss. Typical Discepline?: Garages, ditches, walking the dog How much did you pay for them?: 60 Where did you buy them?: Daddies What are their weaknesses?: Haven't found any yet. Maybe tuning them? What are their strengths?: Lots and lots of fun, 'specially with the flexdex. I see lots of people complaining on forums and in here, maybe I'll see what ya'll are talking about later, but for now I'm having a blast! What similar equipment have you ridden?: None. Would you recommend them?: Yes Full of surprises, Friday, 27 March 2009 has strong promise of journeys into flex unknown... Fun as hell! garages that had become boring turned into rollercoasters! Seriously. No I'm not high. I wobbled a few times, but was able to surf out of it. What were the weaknesses?: Quit whining about ouchies from the glass, be a man CARRY IT BY THE TRUCKS! Or take some shoe goo and cover the edges baby.
