Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

personally, i wouldnt use these as a commuter/all around wheel because they ride rough to me. but as a dedicated slalom wheel, these things are freakin fast once broken in.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 2 years
What Setup are you running them on?: 78/80 on the axe and whatever trucks suit my fancy this season.
Typical Discepline?: slalom
What are their weaknesses?: compared to other like wheels of the same size, i felt that these rode a little rougher than the stated duro. also, it took a while to finally break the wheels in.
What are their strengths?: once broken in, theyre fast as hell.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

the gummy is probably one of the most versatile wheels out there. theyre nice and plush for cruising around. that abec thane makes em sticky. the slightly rounded lip allows for drifts without a deathly chatter.

What are their weaknesses?: none that i can think of.

in the higher duros, these things are fast as hell. yet retain their grip... i actually think these grip waaay better in the higher duros. also, because theyre centerset, it reduces your track with for slalom. so you turn quicker and theyre flipable when coning begins.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 3ish years?
What Setup are you running them on?: 78/81 on the s9 og pin. 88 on whatever slaler i feel like going fast on super smoother crete.
Typical Discepline?: slalom
What are their weaknesses?: these feel mushy in the lower duros, because of the hourglass profile.
What are their strengths?: being centerset, it really reduces your track width. making you turn that much quicker. also, i think they grip better in the higher duros.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

nice mellow concave to get leverage, a little rocker without that extreme swinging feeling, hard edges so you can really feel the rail, and the shape easily helps your foot placement. i cant reccoment this board enough.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: had several over 4 years
What is your setup like?: currently crail front (80 rads top and bottom), dh plate/180 hanger rear (blue stim bottom and gree top), ninja 3s(?), and 75/75 s9 gos wheels
Typical Session Discipline: speed carver, dh
What were the strengths of the deck.: great construction, light, durable, rocker(!), oldschool mounts.
What were the weaknesses?: none that i can think of.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

i have a quiver, so each board has to have a specific discipline. but this just didnt fit into anything. it was too big/flexy for gs, it was too skinny for long distance pumping, its massice (one inch) camber made it a pain to push long distances.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: year and a half
What is your setup like?: it went from 149 trackers, to original s6s, to s6 front tracker rear, 130 seismics, 150 randals... and whatever slalom wheels i had sitting around.
Typical Session Discipline: pumping, hard carving
What were the strengths of the deck.: its construction was top notch. also, the combination of wood and alu made the flex super progressive and responsive.
What were the weaknesses?: it really had a none specific shape and flex to really excel at any one discipline.
Would you recommend it?: No
