the platform was waaay too long for me. i could never find a good stance on that deck.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: a year
What is your setup like?: dh plate rear, r2 plate frontboth with 180 hangersexkate cherrybombs or 76/82 kryptos
Typical Session Discipline: dh
What were the strengths of the deck.: great feeling concave and lots of material around the nose and tail.
What were the weaknesses?: being a dropthrough and all, one good curb hit and that nose is gone.

super light, super agile through the cones. but it really needs a little more width in the rear. also, a little concave wouldnt hurt...
Longboard Review

What were the strengths of the deck.: its a freakin foamcore, what else is there to say?
What were the weaknesses?: it tapers too quickly in the rear for my liking.

good ride for dh. but i felt that the cutouts around the nose and tail were way too much. also there wasnt much material around the mounts in the deck. the mounts were drilled really close to the drop mounts.
Longboard Review

What is your setup like?: randal dhgumballs or grav fu manchus
Typical Session Discipline: dh
What were the strengths of the deck.: nice concave, wide/long platform

i cannot reccomend this board enough for both beginners and the more advanced riders. great feel, functional shape, and one of the most recognizable out there from any company. this is one of the few boards i think everybody should at least try once.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: first one for a year, second one close to a year and a half
What is your setup like?: mine is a hypercarve lite1/8 softie risertracker 149 dartsmoska slalom 65/74ablue khiros/blue bones hardcore/stock indy oranges
Typical Session Discipline: carver/cruiser
What were the strengths of the deck.: classic longboard feel. the baltic is just soft enough to give you that rocker when you stand on it, but hard enough to give it a very progressive flex/rebound.
What were the weaknesses?: i think the new graphics are fugly... but then again, im superficial.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

ill say this right off the bat, im more of a fan of a dedicated setups. this board, to me, seems like an entry level board. the length to be a "longboard", the kick to appeal to those that like kicks, and the flex to have a cush ride. great idea, but to me it felt like its trying to be too many things at once. the decks compression was there, but not an equal amount of rebound. also, for some reason, no matter how many risers i would put on it, it would always end up with wheelbite.

overall, if youre a beginner (student/need small transportation) this is a good choice.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about four months-ish
What is your setup like?: at first randal 150s and gravity street-g'sthen switched out to tracker 149 darts and +/- risers
Typical Session Discipline: commuter
What were the strengths of the deck.: nice and cushy ride.
What were the weaknesses?: it deck was really wheelbite prone front and back. also, i didnt find the tail usefull at all, it just felt too mushy every time i tried to use it.
Would you recommend it?: No
