Reviews written by Toews Sweet!, Friday, 27 March 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 3 daysWhat is your setup like?: Randal II 180 with red Khiro Bitches (running them pretty loose) Lime Abec Freerides and VXB red bearings No risers. Typical Session Discipline: Cruising, carving, tricks How much did you pay?: 130 (including international shipping) Where did you purchase it?: Directly from Earthwing What were the strengths of the deck.: The board is great for big dudes, it's wide (I have the new version) and it flexes really nicely under my weight (240). I haven't really ridden decks with this amount of concave before, but i like it. It locks in your feet and is comfortable. What were the weaknesses?: Compared to the oldschool poolboard I was riding, it's a little less agile. This took a little getting used to. Also, since I only had the board for a couple of days, I can't say anything about the long term durability of the board. (Although this is supposed to be quite good). Similar decks you have ridden?: None really, a home made board and a gecko which kind of compare. But the superglider is so much nicer! Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
