Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: about two months now.What is your setup like?: randalls, otang iin heat, bones red. Typical Session Discipline: sliding dancing and cruising, and carving, How much did you pay?: 300 Where did you purchase it?: daddies board shop What were the strengths of the deck.: the tail and nose are great, being so close to the ground is awesome, its pretty light, and the sides are invincible. great flex. What were the weaknesses?: for some reason when i got it, one of the noses wasnt gripped? the ride isnt as smooth as i thought it would be, but its probably cuz of the wheels and bearings and all that. Similar decks you have ridden?: vanguard. Would you recommend it?: Yes LOADED vanguard, good, but not great board, Sunday, 14 June 2009
Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: ive been riding this board for about one year.What is your setup like?: randalls, gumblls, just the setup the store gave me. Typical Session Discipline: dancing, carving, hills, commuter. How much did you pay?: $315 Where did you purchase it?: skate shop, rascals What were the strengths of the deck.: it has a nice fee; to it, its fun to ride, and people are attracted to its flex. What were the weaknesses?: get a hard flex, like 2 or 1, any higher gives you a big risk of bottoming out, the grip tape gets dirty real easy, the design is kind of ugly, but i do have the old graphic. if you do tricks like kick flips, and basically anything that has a chance of flipping the board, it will scratch up the edges real bad. no nose or tail. get the dervish, its like a better version of the vanguard. Similar decks you have ridden?: dervish, i rode my friends dervish, now im going to buy one, theyre great, better than vanguard. sorry vanguard fans.
