“I am stoked to join Kahuna Creations!” says Buttons, “Kahuna Creations is a soulful company that pays tribute to my Hawaiian ancestors.  Hawaiians were the first people to feel the love of board riding, Kahuna Creations remembers those roots and has created a line up that weaves in the Hawaiian spirit.”

when i first got these they were great. i learned to slide on them and everything was cool. they are easy to use, just slip on strap in and go. the pucks slide well making these gloves great for beginning sliders.
the gloves have some problems though. Its two fingers per section, wich is good for plenty of space, but annoying as hell when your not slidding; its hard to do stuff like hold your board or strap the other glove when you have one on. another problem i had was when i messed up, since my fingers werent secure in their own thing, they got hurt, i have jammed my pinky, had my nail shoved into my skin on my pointer and had my middle fingernail chipped away at.
The gloves dont last to long. after alittle bit of true slidding the puck came off of its velrow. this happened many times, and i kept having to hot glue them back, i am now missing 3 pucks. also the leather began to rip. i messed up the bottom of my palm real bad once bc the leather had ripped and my skin got dragged acros the pavement. the sitching is pretty bad so the finger parts are coming apart.

great for beginners and learning how to slide. once you get good move on to better gloves...i have heard good things about the triple 8s and i just ordered those

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: afew months
What is your setup like?: earthwing superglider, randal 180s, earhtwing superballs
Typical Session Discipline: traffic skatting
How much did you pay?: got it froma friend
What were the strengths of the deck.: so many strengths. the concave is great. its on the smaller side so your front foot fits in there great. it works really well when you have to kick and turn at the same time. since the backside is smaller it gives you more control. the board in general is pretty narrow so it fits well in tight spaces like in between cars. the flex is just right. its stable enough so you feel good, but the it has a good amount of flex for turning, also its fun to bounce around on as u cruise. its also light, i skated a sector9 and i felt like i was pushing the board with me on it. with this board i dont even feel the board.
What were the weaknesses?: cant think of any.
Similar decks you have ridden?: none like it
Would you recommend it?: Yes
