Quantcast

Newsflash

The Bennett "lockerboard" was scootin' around the Crossroads show recently and Mr. Bennett called to say they're out on the market now in a limited run of hand-screened, numbered completes.  We're stoked to see the little, rockered deck out there!

They've got the hook-hole in the nose, wheelwells that match perfectly when you crank'em over to turn the way Bennetts do and 'gators on the 4.3's.   They're at TailTap.com.

Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: About a month
What Setup are you running them on?: Bustin Sojourn v2.0
Typical Discepline?: This truck is fun to just cruise on-- NO DH
How much did you pay for them?: $60 with my Sojourn
Where did you buy them?: From Bustin
What are their weaknesses?: Have no rubber bushings around kingpin, just a direct contact that transfers a lot of road noise into the ride when you don't have risers on the board
What are their strengths?: Carve and Pump like crazy. They are fun as hell.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Nothing like them.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: bought this board last summer when i decided my landyachtz chief wouldnt cut it anymore
What is your setup like?: Randal 180mm 50, Retro Zigzags, Bones Reds.
Typical Session Discipline: Hard Carving, pumping, getting into DH
How much did you pay?: 100 for the deck
Where did you purchase it?: skate shop
What were the strengths of the deck.: Super stable at speeds, brought this up to 35 mph with some gumballs and had a whole bunch of fun. This board is sick
What were the weaknesses?: I'm starting to get a crack running from the tail of the board, which the shop said is just cus of the drier mountain air we got in colorado.. apparently arbor will replace it if the crack makes its way to the nose or spreads beyond the top ply
Similar decks you have ridden?: idunno
Would you recommend it?: Yes
