Reviews written by ephesus64 What are they good for?, Monday, 01 September 2008 Ya know, you try to be different and NOT buy Abec11 wheels like everyone else, and where does it get you? Not worth it. Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: Half a year. What Setup are you running them on?: First on a Landyachtz Drop Hammer with Gullwing Chargers, then a S9 42" Cosmic with Randal 180s, fitted with Bones Reds. Typical Discepline?: Cruising, carving, attempting slides How much did you pay for them?: 35-39 bucks, I believe Where did you buy them?: local skate shop What are their weaknesses?: (this refers to the 84a red Street G) s-l-o-w. Compared to every other wheel ridden on the boards above, these wheels make you feel like you're riding on a wrestling mat. (small exaggeration, but still.) Plus, Despite being 84a, they are difficult to impossible to slide- my friend's worn-in s9 wheels slid better. Considering that's what I ignorantly bought them for, that's quite a weakness. What are their strengths?: Well, they stick to the ground alright, and they look fairly cool. All red and racy and such. What similar equipment have you ridden?: Abec 11 Striker, Hawgs 76mm, Gravity Fu Manchu, Abec11 70's flashback. Would you recommend them?: No << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 1 of 1 |
