I've been looking for a good wheel for my pickle for a while now. Before this I was using 88a duro NoSkoolz and didn't like them. I found them slow in the park due to their width, and jittery over pavement. The G-bones actually feel pretty similar on the street, but feel much quicker on smooth concrete. I can make it up the tranny higher, can hold lines longer without needing to push, all over a very good park wheel.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: A few weeks
What Setup are you running them on?: My 34" Pickle by Koastal
Typical Discepline?: Commuting, mostly park
How much did you pay for them?: 10$
Where did you buy them?: Powell headquarters
What are their weaknesses?: They're a little hard for riding on the street, but at 97a duro, that is to be expected.
What are their strengths?: Very fast, surprisingly smooth. I don't have much experience with park wheels, but these are the best I've ridden.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Abec11 NoSkoolz in 88a duro.
Would you recommend them?: Yes
