i have these wheels in 70mm 86a -- and -- 65mm 78a.

first, 70mm 86a:
they are great for bombing when you know you can pull a long fast slide at the end. they carve out predictably too. but they cone very quickly. i am a sucker for the green swirl! i like these as they gave me confidence to go fast as i knew i would be able to stop no problem and they were what got me into basic sliding. yep, i'd recommend them...

second, 65mm 78a:
they pretty much suck. they flat and cone way to easy and at slow speed too. i was well dissapointed. i used them in the same way as the above wheels, and i guess they are not for that. i am still rotating and hoping to cone them into a more useful shape (like round), but another one flatted... no, i wouldn't recommend them.

humph - hawaii's, i think they're phasing them out anyway.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: err, they don't last too long... it depends on how much you use them.
What Setup are you running them on?: anything really.
Typical Discepline?: bombing and a big slide to stop!
How much did you pay for them?: quite alot... 40 euros (maybe more)? for the 70mm then i got some secondhand. the 65mm i got from lush.
Where did you buy them?: www.ridespirit.com
What are their weaknesses?: the urethane?!they don't last long.
What are their strengths?: they break into a slide very predictably.they look class.
Would you recommend them?: Undecided

this is about the 78a.
i bought these to use with some midtrackers and they can handle fast turns no problem.
they are an immense little wheel. i have ridden the same runs with avalons (80a 69mm) and felt more bumps and cracks.
these wheels are super. they aren't especially fast, but for hitting up a city with dodgy surfaces they are class.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: a few months, maybe four.
What Setup are you running them on?: they've been on lots of different boards now.
Typical Discepline?: commuting/cruising/carving.
How much did you pay for them?: 30 english groats - i think.
Where did you buy them?: www.fatboyskates.co.uk
What are their weaknesses?: none to date.
What are their strengths?: smooth.smooth.smooth.they are extremely smooth.in the softer formula you wouldn't know that these wheels were only 63mm.oh yes and the clear red urethane is pretty cool too.and the raised lettering.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: other wheels...

seismics...seismics...seismics. you love'em or hate'em, or... like me they confuse you.

i was really blown away by the ride the first time i tried a set. they are pretty snappy, which in my opinion suits tense flexible decks. they pump well. they turn lovely when they are loose. but i'd rather ride a kingpin/bushing truck.
changing the springs can be a nightmare. i've fiddled about with them a few times with no probblems and a few times with some crossthreading...could just be me.
at first i loved the futuristic look. i was convinced that they were for me.
i like them, but they are presently setup on my girlfriends cruiser (and yes, i use it too!)

they are definitely a good truck, but i think there are trucks that are easier to tune and change out there.

great trucks. if you only have one set of cruise/carve/bomb trucks i'd get these.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: almost a year, is it?
What Setup are you running them on?: homemade 46 inch longboard.
Typical Discepline?: carving/bombing
How much did you pay for them?: retail price
Where did you buy them?: lush
What are their weaknesses?: i find it difficult to nip through crowds at low speeds with them... but that's not what they're for.you can only really use the holey bushings for them... so, some people may not like them as you can't fiddle with them to the max and personalise your ride.
What are their strengths?: the stock bushing is great.they feel very smooth going into and out of the carve. when carving at speed they work extremely well.same for sliding.also can be used for bombing.they are ready to go stock bushing and all (you can now also buy a harder blue bushing for downhill)and let's face it, they have a super look.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: randal 180's.
Would you recommend them?: Yes
