Quantcast

Newsflash

The Bennett "lockerboard" was scootin' around the Crossroads show recently and Mr. Bennett called to say they're out on the market now in a limited run of hand-screened, numbered completes.  We're stoked to see the little, rockered deck out there!

They've got the hook-hole in the nose, wheelwells that match perfectly when you crank'em over to turn the way Bennetts do and 'gators on the 4.3's.   They're at TailTap.com.

I'd like to try some more Rayne brand boards. Maybe the Hellcat next!
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 2 Months
What is your setup like?: Currently running 1 paris 180 on the front and a Bear Grizzly on the back.
Typical Session Discipline: Parking decks and cruising
How much did you pay?: 125 for the deck and trucks
Where did you purchase it?: Got it from a stand-up member of Sfish
What were the strengths of the deck.: The deck is a little stiffer than most decks I've been riding. I weigh 150lb and it flexes ever so slightly for me, which isn't a bad thing. It's great for bombing some gnarly hills but it also rides great around town.

It's a great board for sliding. As soon as you want to break the back end loose it'll whip around, but only if you want it to. The large foot room is also a plus!

What were the weaknesses?: The deck is a little flat with not much of a concave to it. The shape isn't the most attractive, but it works. I'm on the ugly-graphic-ship with everyone else. The picture on the bottom is as uncool as Hillary Clinton.
Similar decks you have ridden?: NS Heist (highly recommended) and Loaded Vanguard.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

If you're looking for a medium flex drop through this is it.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 2 Months
What is your setup like?: Currently running Paris 180 Trucks (stock bushings) with Purple Otang In Heats.
Typical Session Discipline: Parking Decks
How much did you pay?: $125 for just the Deck
Where did you purchase it?: Daddies
What were the strengths of the deck.: The deck is well built with almost the perfect amount of flex. I weigh 150lb and it only flexes when I need it to. Perfect for taking sharp turns at high speeds, but it can handle itself speeding down whatever hill you throw at it.
What were the weaknesses?: I haven't found one.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Rayne Hustler and Loaded Vanguard
Would you recommend it?: Yes
