Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

This is a pretty piece of junk. It broke down the center after 4 days of commuting. If you plan to ride your a skate board do not buy this piece of crap! You will break it and get stiffed by landyachtz. They got my money and laughed all the way to the bank for selling me a defective deck.

Why do you expect me to stand "on" something that landyachtz will not even stand behind!!!
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 4 Days
What is your setup like?: Grizzly 852's, Bennett Alligators 71mm 80a, Bones Reds
Typical Session Discipline: commuter, carve
How much did you pay?: 117 deck only
Where did you purchase it?: The Long Board Store
What were the strengths of the deck.: Looks cool nice and wide
What were the weaknesses?: Broke after 4 days of to and from class/work. No hard skating, no DH, no hard carving, just to and from work. The company was unwilling to assist me in any way to replace the defective deck!
Similar decks you have ridden?: None. this is a pretty piece of crap. Don't ride it if you want to keep it. If you are a poser that wants to look cool with a skateboard in hand and never ride buy this pretty piece of junk!!!
Would you recommend it?: No

This is the lube of choice! It made my old bearings (yes they need to be replaced...I know, I know) run better than they have in the last few years. They were second hand bearings on a second hand deck that were not taken care of, but free is free, and fresh stoke is powerful stuff. Any how... the bearings have never run so smooth for so long. You bet that this will maintain your new bearings and renew your thrashed ones.

Two drops and you are done. Make...or buy a bearing cleaner and you are set for bearing maintenance.

I like the idea and it seems to work well. The one thing I do not like is the nylon washers for the back side... they rub against the bearings. They had to go!!! I would recommend coming up with another method of shielding the inner bearing. I am still working on a better method for myself. Have had some ideas but need to get to a better hardware store since I live in B.F.E.

They do cover the outer bearing great. I could see a distinct difference when I took the wheels off after one week. They do help keep dirt out of your bearings! The built in speed washer on the nylock nut/"rim" works good.

They look a little cheesy but after I got used to them I like the way they look.
