Reviews written by justice1979 Don't buy it, Thursday, 24 July 2008 Why do you expect me to stand "on" something that landyachtz will not even stand behind!!! Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 4 DaysWhat is your setup like?: Grizzly 852's, Bennett Alligators 71mm 80a, Bones Reds Typical Session Discipline: commuter, carve How much did you pay?: 117 deck only Where did you purchase it?: The Long Board Store What were the strengths of the deck.: Looks cool nice and wide What were the weaknesses?: Broke after 4 days of to and from class/work. No hard skating, no DH, no hard carving, just to and from work. The company was unwilling to assist me in any way to replace the defective deck! Similar decks you have ridden?: None. this is a pretty piece of crap. Don't ride it if you want to keep it. If you are a poser that wants to look cool with a skateboard in hand and never ride buy this pretty piece of junk!!! Would you recommend it?: No Sweet Donuts, Monday, 14 July 2008 Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: 3 monthsWhat Setup are you running them on?: Landy Drop Hammer, Bear 852's, Bones Reds Eden 47" pinner, Randal RII, Amphetamine ABEC7 Typical Discepline?: Commuting, Carving, Cruising How much did you pay for them?: 48 Where did you buy them?: Mile High Longboards What are their weaknesses?: When then slightest bit wet...no grip (damn campus over watering), but I live in New Mexico, US so no worries there. What are their strengths?: Grippy like gum. Roll well. Maintain speed. Great feel. Great size What similar equipment have you ridden?: Blank 65mm 80a. Would you recommend them?: Yes Schweet lube, Sunday, 06 July 2008 Two drops and you are done. Make...or buy a bearing cleaner and you are set for bearing maintenance. Simple yet fairly effective, Sunday, 06 July 2008 They do cover the outer bearing great. I could see a distinct difference when I took the wheels off after one week. They do help keep dirt out of your bearings! The built in speed washer on the nylock nut/"rim" works good. They look a little cheesy but after I got used to them I like the way they look. << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 4 of 4 |
