Reviews written by lametacomeat Fun Deck for Riders of any Experience, Tuesday, 18 August 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 5 MonthsWhat is your setup like?: Randal R-II 180 trucks Venom Super Carve bushings Orangatang Durian wheels Swiss Bones Super Six bearings Flex 1 deck Typical Session Discipline: Carving, Dancing, and Mild Downhill How much did you pay?: Was a gift, but I would venture a guess that about 300 was payed for it. Where did you purchase it?: daddiesboardshop What were the strengths of the deck.: It has a flex that lets you absolutely dig in while carving; letting you feel like you are one with the board. Mine has some scuffs and scratches, but the thing holds up really well against damage. It's better than other Loaded decks for downhilling, but still has a bit of trouble due to the high amount of flex. What were the weaknesses?: It has a bit of a stability problem at higher speeds, so downhilling needs to be kept to mild-medium hills unless you're very experienced. The nose/tail (symmetric) are very small, so tricks are harder (but definitely not impossible). Similar decks you have ridden?: A Landyachtz drop-through deck (although I'm not sure what model it was). Would you recommend it?: Yes Daddies Board Shop, Tuesday, 14 April 2009 Retailer Reviews What did you buy?: Loaded Dervish, Randal RII's, Otang In HeatsWhen did you buy it?: April 2009 How much did you spend?: 250 Was the site easy to navigate if the purchase was online?: Very Did the purchase go smoothly?: Certainly Did you feel like they appreciated your business?: I suppose so Would You recommend them in the future?: Yes, definitely << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 2 of 2 |
