Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

Great little carver
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: Couple months
What is your setup like?: gfh lemon yellow 78a wheels, 3'' gfh trucks(how it comes complete off their site)
Typical Session Discipline: carvin up mellow hills, good commuter
How much did you pay?: about 100 bucks
Where did you purchase it?: Directly from GFH
What were the strengths of the deck.: Its a fun board, that sounds cheesy but thats the best way to describe it. Whenever a friend hops on this thing for the first time they just love it. Every good quiver needs a fun mini.It definaltey gives you that 70s' ''dogtown'' look and feel.
What were the weaknesses?: The size, 24'' is very very small, especially for how slim this deck is. try this board out before you buy it because for some people if forces you into an akward stance. My biggest gripe with this board is the lack of a tail, its so narrow and mellow that it really might as well not be there. Your basically forced to only have the tips of your toes on the back of the board, it can be tough to get used to
Similar decks you have ridden?: none really, first and only mini
Would you recommend it?: Undecided

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about a year off and on
What is your setup like?: tracker darts, and s9 top shelfs
Typical Session Discipline: cruising to the beach for morning check out, carving
How much did you pay?: like, 150?
Where did you purchase it?: milehighskates.com , marks the man
What were the strengths of the deck.: Very durable, soft smooth ride. Once i threw big soft wheels on it, it was like floating on a cloud. It has big cut outs so almost any practical sized wheel will work on it. It carves just as hard as boards that are much more expensive. GREAT 1st board.
What were the weaknesses?: Well i run my on super loose conventional trucks, plus the board itself is pretty flexy - so stability is an issue if your straight-bombing hills. Its a flat board so if you prefer concave or camber then you might not like it. Personally i prefer flat boards for cruising because its easier on your feet.
Similar decks you have ridden?: it really got its own feel
Would you recommend it?: Yes
