this board is not bad if you like carving downhill. I enjoy riding it but it is not for everyone. I would say get it if you want something to ride that is different than your longboard, but if you are just starting out get a longboard first. It does what it says on the tin, it carves downhill, not much else. I find myself running off at times because it can be odd to footbrake.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 1 month
What is your setup like?: upgraded vxb bearings and pleasure tool mac oh boys
Typical Session Discipline: carving
How much did you pay?: 80 + around 40 upgrades
Where did you purchase it?: sports authority
What were the strengths of the deck.: carves really well. very easy to ride, much easier than my freeboard to ride. the board actually rides really nice on good wheels and bearings. doesnt catch an edge like the freeboard.
What were the weaknesses?: stock wheels and bearings are terrible. wheels are probably more important than the bearings. you need a hill to ride, even with new hardware pushing on the flats is can be slow. but pleasure tool and vxb bearings make a big difference and are affordable.
Similar decks you have ridden?: freeboard
Would you recommend it?: Undecided
