Reviews written by ninjawong Excellence, Tuesday, 14 April 2009 Get it over the Avenger. Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 6mnthsWhat is your setup like?: RandalsRIIs Blue Barrels Biltins Lemon BigZigs +1/2" risers Typical Session Discipline: DH How much did you pay?: $310 abouts Where did you purchase it?: Daddies, TactisSk8 What were the strengths of the deck.: ROCK. SOLID. Like riding on a chunk of pavement. Excellent concave, nice and wide... Love this deck. Have abused and beaten it and it still holds up great. What were the weaknesses?: Fairly heavy, wheelbite on BigZigs w/o risers... so... kinda tall. Similar decks you have ridden?: Hellcat, Avenger Would you recommend it?: Yes Oh, So Tasty, Thursday, 01 January 2009 It's freakin' magical. Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 5 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Flex 4 Paris 180's OTang4Prez Typical Session Discipline: Commuting, Carving, Cruising How much did you pay?: $270 Where did you purchase it?: Daddie's Board Shop What were the strengths of the deck.: Flex = Efficiency around town, the MOST power for your push. Also, makes for some really nice pumping and carving. And oooooh so smooth and delicious. Makes me shiver. Furthermore, it's light as hell and pretty short, so you can take it anywhere, anytime, and twirl it around with ease. But the flex is still extremely powerful. I was surprised - my 300lbs uncle jumped and flattened it out and it didn't break. I almost did, though. What were the weaknesses?: Flex= Instability at higher speeds - that same flexyness plus the height make footbreaking and tucking at higher speeds unstable. Similar decks you have ridden?: Fibreflex Pintail Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 2 of 2 |
