Typical Discepline?: Commuting, Slalom How much did you pay for them?: US$32 Where did you buy them?: www.thelongboardstore.com What are their weaknesses?: Not many that I have found so far. What are their strengths?: These wheels rock. I love them. They look super styley, are super grippy and all my mates wish they had them. I live in NZ so imported them myself, so I'm pretty sure no one else nearby has a set. The size and shape fits the Tracker trucks perfectly and gives my board a real 'old school' look. How much did you pay for them?: Bundled off eBay with Randals and cheap bearings for US$70 Where did you buy them?: TGMskateboards What are their weaknesses?: Haven't really found any, although the 78a model is super grippy and if I was into my sliding I would definitely buy a harder model (probably 84a). What are their strengths?: Great construction, super grippy, very quick on the downhill. All round awesome large wheel. What similar equipment have you ridden?: Sector 9 70mm 75a Nineballs. Typical Discepline?: Downhill, Commuting, Towing behind the car How much did you pay for them?: US$12 Where did you buy them?: www.thelongboardstore.com What are their weaknesses?: Sealed bearings seem to run a little slower intitally, however after a bit of use I guess they are 'worn in' and run like a dream. What are their strengths?: Sealed, so protected from water and dust. Great for when I'm going to uni or cruising round town on a wet/rainy day because I don't need to service them when I get home like I do my unsealed bearings. Very quick also. What similar equipment have you ridden?: FKD Gold Abec 7 bearings. Typical Discepline?: Commuting, Carving, Downhill How much did you pay for them?: NZ$40 Where did you buy them?: www.bestboards.co.nz What are their weaknesses?: No seals so after riding through water/on rainy days they often require a full clean (saying this, cleaning the bearings is relatively straightforward). What are their strengths?: Incredibly fast for a cheap set of bearings. I'm running my Evo on Pleasuretools Sealed Abec 7 bearings and my FKDs consistently outrun it and any of my friend's boards.
