Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

What is your setup like?: Complete from gravity with tracker trucks and ice blue fu manchu wheels.
Typical Session Discipline: boardwalking cruising bombing
How much did you pay?: 160 $
Where did you purchase it?: www.gravityboard.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: After riding a 40" with originals and 65mm wheels, you push this thing and it just glides, one push and you go literally 50 feet it's amazing. PERFECT boardwalking dekc.
What were the weaknesses?: Tracker trucks really suck at turning and when I say suck I mean they blow, but its still a great ride.

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about a year
What is your setup like?: torpedo deck with original s6 trucks and original "breeze" wheels very similar to krypto 65mm in 78a.
Typical Session Discipline: carving hills some sliding and riding banks.
How much did you pay?: 140 for this complete
Where did you purchase it?: off the original website
What were the strengths of the deck.: This deck is a carve monster. Thats what the original trucks excell at. Originals also slide well but with 78a wheels not too fast or long. Bombing on this board setup is possible but not very stable. Boardwalking is possible too with the spoonnose and the kicktail is also useful.
What were the weaknesses?: When bombing at high speeds it's not very stable. When setup with s6 trucks it sometimes gets wheelbite.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
