Reviews written by twinkles132 exlposive, Monday, 12 January 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: a monthWhat is your setup like?: paris 150's...venom super carves...80 top 84 bottom...bones super swiss 6...otang 4 prez 80a Typical Session Discipline: carving...pumping...slides...pedestrian slalom...hills....parking garadge How much did you pay?: 160 for the deck Where did you purchase it?: sk8tsonhaight What were the strengths of the deck.: curves are dialed..i really like the small but very functional frontside kicktail...the truck placement holes...this thing is quick to turn on a dime and the concave keeps you locked in tight... large back kicktail gives you the nice pumpy feeling you would get from an oldschool deck but because of the loaded aspect it flexes a lil to shoot you out of carves...also there is no weel bite What were the weaknesses?: its a little too stiff for my taset..i wish you could choose your flex...the board is perfect for a oldschool stytle rider as its stiff but still provides enough flex to pump the hell outa the board... Similar decks you have ridden?: nothing...kinda of a cross between a flexdex 29 and a loaded pintail Would you recommend it?: Yes legitness..worth the wait, Wednesday, 06 August 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: about 3 monthsWhat is your setup like?: paris 180's with custom bushings, speedvents 77, super swiss 6, Typical Session Discipline: hard carving/ pumping/ ligh dh How much did you pay?: 185 for the deck (carbon) Where did you purchase it?: from the man himself steve hopper What were the strengths of the deck.: super ligh, stiff but the deck loades up as u go into turns, similar to a loaded What were the weaknesses?: nothing, except for the long ass turnaround time Similar decks you have ridden?: loaded boards Would you recommend it?: Yes the all can do board, Wednesday, 23 April 2008 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 2 yearsWhat is your setup like?: paris 150, sisemic hot spot 69mm 80 duro, bone swiss super 6 Typical Session Discipline: carving, light hills. parking garages How much did you pay?: hmm iv invested around 280-300 total in my setup Where did you purchase it?: black daimond sports What were the strengths of the deck.: the way i have it set up...it carves like a cloud. It turns alot better and sharper then the vanguard and is alot more lively. its great to cruse on and lively yet stable at low speeds. THIS BOARD IS KING IN PARKING LOTS!! ive also used it for bowl riding and is quite nice as you can pump the board What were the weaknesses?: At high speeds it becomes some what twichy and over responsive if you dont carve...to some however this might be a plus side...i personally like a over responsive deck (thats it... Similar decks you have ridden?: flexdex s30 loaded vanguard Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 3 of 3 |
