Quantcast

Newsflash

Pocket Pistol's B. "Chicken" Deck is all over the import industry's use of heat-transfer graphics to boards.  Sure, he's a silk-screen traditionalist (and one of the best), but there's more to this than just gripin':  heat breaks down epoxy and the boards get hot!

Of course, PPS makes all of Christian Hosoi's boards and you never met a better OG Skate God.  Click Chicken's graphic to leap over and check out the latest Hosoi boards, all silkscreened...

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 3 weeks
What is your setup like?: orangatang 4prez 80a, paris 180s, abec 7s, Flex 1 (I weigh about 155, and flex is comfy)
Typical Session Discipline: carving, cruising, biiig slow pumps, dancing...duh!
How much did you pay?: 365
Where did you purchase it?: daddies
What were the strengths of the deck.: straight quality...you can tell this board was made with precision and great materials (the linen is really nice)! the flex feels very natural when cross stepping. the nose makes shovits and nose manuals quite smooth. the tail has plenty of leverage for whatever you want to do!
What were the weaknesses?: the only thing i would say is weight...Which is easy to get used to!!!!

at first i thought the board was extremely heavy (I used to ride minis, so i was coming from a 24" board), after about 4 hours of use, I felt like i was one with the board! so dont fret!

Similar decks you have ridden?: I've ridden a few loaded decks but nothing quite like this!!!
