i love the feel of this board, comet hit the nail on the head with the rocker/concave mix. get one, you won't regret it. to make an incredible product with such eco-friendly methods is something every company should strive to do, comet is a winner.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: two months
What is your setup like?: XL Voodoo, 190mm bear smokies, orangatang 83a 4presidents, yellow eliminator/green venom barrel front, white jimz/green venom barrel
Typical Session Discipline: DH
How much did you pay?: $100
Where did you purchase it?: http://www.cometskateboards.com/
What were the strengths of the deck.: everything. this board looks and feels absolutely amazing. the rocker/concave mix is perfect.
What were the weaknesses?: small amount of wheelbite with smokies, but nothing 30 seconds with a dremel didn't fix.
Similar decks you have ridden?: rayne avenger, s9 race, s9 kommi
Would you recommend it?: Yes

Great wheel. Use em for DH till they lose their grip, then slide the crap out of 'em.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: since they came out, a year
What Setup are you running them on?: DH: 09 Hellcat w/ 35/42 Randal 180s, Comet XL Voodoo w/ 190mm Smokeys. Carving: Loaded Vanguard flex 2 w/ Paris or Randal 180s, Loaded Ceviche w/ Randal 150s.
Typical Discepline?: DH, sliding/freeriding
How much did you pay for them?: $50 or $55
Where did you buy them?: DBS, Loaded's site
What are their weaknesses?: They wear pretty fast
What are their strengths?: Grippy with ok slides at first, but once you break them in they slide beautifully until they die.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: ZigZags, BigZigs, InHeats, Flashbacks, Gumballs, Strikers, Kryptos, Flywheels, EW Freeriders,
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Good customer service as far as replacing your bent ones, but I got sick of sending them back in so I stopped riding them.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 5 different pairs over a year
What Setup are you running them on?: Vanguard, Subsonic Reflex 42 on 42* plates, 09 Hellcat on 35* or 42* plates
Typical Discepline?: DH, Carving, Pumping
How much did you pay for them?: $50? $45?
Where did you buy them?: DBS, Loaded's website
What are their weaknesses?: I've bent all 5 pairs I've owned, including 1 pair of 150s, even the newer, supposedly stronger axles. Bent one set within a week, all of this happening on normal riding without hitting curbs.
What are their strengths?: Great bushing seat, tighten it up a bit for DH and loosen em back up for carving and pumping.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Randal 180s, Gullwing Chargers
Would you recommend them?: No

too expensive unless you buy them used, but they're great trucks for DH and high speed carving. Sphericals are a weird beast to get used to but they feel great once you do.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 3 months
What Setup are you running them on?: XL Voodoo, Venom bushings and Orangatang 4Presidents. also used on an 09 Hellcat with similar components.
Typical Discepline?: DH
How much did you pay for them?: 200 used
Where did you buy them?: silverfish classifieds
What are their weaknesses?: Not very turny, even topmounted. Cleaning them is a bit more of a task because of the sphericals. Rough ride, especially on bad pavement, because of all the metal to metal contacts.
What are their strengths?: Super stable, strong 10mm axles, completely different ride from cast trucks
What similar equipment have you ridden?: no other precision trucks
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Bought a Flex 3 as my second longboard, it was a bit flexier than I wanted so I sold it and bought a Flex 2. Perfect for my 160 lbs. Awesome board in general, and the board is a tank (except for the edges). Mine has been run over by a car and now feels more like a flex 4 and is very unresponsive, but it's still fun to ride. Learned how to do 180 powerslides on it, dance, shuvit, kickflip, all that good stuff. Definitely a fun board.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 1.5 years
What is your setup like?: Flex 2, Paris or Randal 180s, Venom bushings, 81a and 84a Gumballs, Orangatang 4Presidents, 81a Flashbacks, 81a EW Freeriders, 70mm 75a Kryptos (nasty clear red thane)
Typical Session Discipline: Carving, light DH, dancing, store runs
How much did you pay?: 150
Where did you purchase it?: once off Loaded's site, once off Daddies
What were the strengths of the deck.: The flex is snappy and responsive to begin with. Great carves, plush ride, very comfortable flex. Large enough platform for dancing, and it pumps damn well.
What were the weaknesses?: Flex wears out fairly quickly, gets a bit saggy, edges chip off fast if you do kickflips and things with it.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Dervish, Dancer, Ceviche, Pintail, LBL OSD
Would you recommend it?: Yes
