Reviews written by xjason11x fucking bushing seat...., Thursday, 12 November 2009 Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: 3 weeksWhat Setup are you running them on?: S9 Bombhills, powerballs Typical Discepline?: DH How much did you pay for them?: 50 used What are their weaknesses?: THE FUCKING BUSHING SEAT. Didn't fit my JimZ without forcing and wedging them in there. And my Reflexes that i just got pop out of the fucking bushings seat. What are their strengths?: They look nice..... thats about it Would you recommend them?: No yeeesssssssss, Wednesday, 14 October 2009 As I said though, you have to cut them at the top so they will fit in the crappy bushing seat. And just to remind you.... ***OLD GEN TRUCKS*** Equipment Reviews How long have you ridden them?: 4-5 maybe more monthsWhat Setup are you running them on?: Evo and A Ladera Ripper tompount. 40* ***OLD GENERATION TRUCKS*** Typical Discepline?: anything really How much did you pay for them?: I think they average for 40ish? Where did you buy them?: stokedskateboards.com What are their weaknesses?: The bushing seat sucks ass. the top of the hangar where the axle goes through bumps up and touches the bushing causing them to pop out of the bushing seat when riding. Shaving them down fixes this... for a while untile the bushing turns and it's touching tha hangar again. >:( What are their strengths?: I'd have to say stablility. I've taken these to low 30's on a really small topmount with JimZ bushings and they were awesome. What similar equipment have you ridden?: none yet. Would you recommend them?: Undecided pretty effing awesome, Wednesday, 14 October 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: about 4 months maybe longerWhat is your setup like?: 40* bear Grizzlies and Retro Bigzigz Typical Session Discipline: DH How much did you pay?: $240 Where did you purchase it?: stokedskateboards.com What were the strengths of the deck.: Stable as BALLS. Wobbles are litterally impossible on this board. The board iteslf is also very stong, it's a tank. What were the weaknesses?: if there is any weakness, I'd say turning, it is good at turning, really good at making quick turns to dodge a branch or something, but it does slide out a bit. I wedged out the back for some extra turning. I also plan to put a 50* Bear plate in back. Similar decks you have ridden?: none yet. Would you recommend it?: Yes Good begginer, Saturday, 24 January 2009 Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: a weekWhat is your setup like?: The ripper deck with 150 randals with Abec 11 flashbacks Typical Session Discipline: Downhill, cruizing How much did you pay?: 130 Where did you purchase it?: local skate shop idk the name sorry What were the strengths of the deck.: great for beginers, good size, and the deck is pretty strong What were the weaknesses?: not too stable past 30mph or so. (I learned that the hard way rofl) Similar decks you have ridden?: my first deck Would you recommend it?: Yes << Start < Prev 1 Next > End >> Results 1 - 4 of 4 |
