1 LONWOOD SKATEBOARDS
Longwood’s new line of boards for 2008 has progressed with these sensitive times. Evolving from the thought of conserving our wonderful planet, to keeping the ride engineered for even the most soulful skater. This year’s new line consists of 2 new sustainable decks. The most progressive shape in this line up is the “008 Zippy.” It is a 27” WOW! This zippy embodies a total old school feel but is geared for today’s modern hardware. The deck comes in two styles: Wenge (Weng- geh) or Zebrawood. Both are responsibly harvested woods. Featured on this deck is a beautiful Teak wedge tail, added to give skaters more options on the street or in the pool. The second shape, “ the 48”er ”, speaks of classic design. With clean lines in mind this 48 ” longboard will never grow old. Longwood has added beautiful sustainable woods like Afromosia and Wenge (Weng- geh) to this model. Both styles come with a Zebrawood tail block. These longboards are so tight you might think they’d make a great coffee table, though more enjoyable will be the ride you get from this classic shape. The 48”er has just enough flex not to interrupt your walk to the nose. All Longwood Skateboards are crafted with a UV safe, clear grip finish. This combination of wood and finish gives Longwood a cutting edge, a perfect blend of aesthetics and durability. All together, these boards have been engineered to give Skater’s a more positive ride. Tread lightly on the earth. Push more and drive less.
