I started with a Dawes SST, the frame and the front hub are the only original parts

There are a couple odd fixies on the local Craigslist that I'm looking at. We'll see how it goes.

How about a rural assault vehical? Lol

Did a fun little snow/grass slalom last month.

And some beach riding on Michigan's standard mid winter warm up. (Pics taken in January)

Along the Grand at the Gravel pits in Jenison, Slalom at Richmond Park, and Beach riding along Lake MI from Port Sheldon to Grand Haven. This was the first year of the slalom event, they'll probably do it again next year because it was a riot, Costumes/Music and every type of bike you can imagine.

Just picked it up that day, didn't have braze ons for a rack so I found a seat post clamp that has them and it causes the front to be mounted higher. It's since been adjusted but for that day I didn't really care.

Picture because it snowed today, mother nature has been conspiring for the last few weeks to keep me off the trails, I do hate the spring thaw.

I did fgfs then 26", then 24" bmx for a while but eventually went back to my 20"
and my knees are definitely a lot happier now.

If you're looking for a bike like that though, might as well start with an actual big wheel bmx frame,
since the biggest difference is the rear hub spacing-on a ps bmx you can throw a proper cassette hub on from the get go,
instead of the less bombproof track hub you'd need to convert a true fgfs to single speed

See, I found it really hard to handle a 20" wheel... coming from an MTB and roadbike background. I don't necessarily like the idea of shelling out $800+ for a true 26" BMX bike, ala the fireman's Texas cruiser or whatever.
