Ya, I call it a slam peg. Most of us are not too familiar with riding those flat skateboards from the 70's anymore so I put the bushing there to "slam" my foot against. Helps keep the back foot from slipping off and stretching the groin. Not sure if it works that great or not, but it's a good security blanked... The flat tail boards are pretty fun for a different kinda ride.

I just made a board from ceiling fan blades the other day, and the flat kick really is something else. So far I haven't stepped off the back though, which is almost surprising given the length of the board.

The "Flat Ass" is a shape I had been mullin' around with for a while and decided to cut some out. Even has wheel wells.
    - 1/2" Birch.
    - Tracker Darts
    - LAX 64.5 wheels from AEND.

I got about 20 of these to get rid of.
99 bux complete with free ship (usa only)
    or
$40 for the deck with satin lacquer finish and grip.

Any takers? Anyone want me to post the template?

    Probably gonna get a "double post" comment, but here's the latest news;

Concave 9ply Maple Uncuts shipping now.
11" wide x 45" long with .66" concave to the 11" wide section (average cut out board at 9" to 9.5" will have about .55" concave)
Made with 100% premium Canadian Maple with Vario Super Systems Glue under 50 tons of pressure and pressed in CNC made molds.

$38 each plus $10 shipping within the US. Uncuts ship wrapped in stretch film.
send me a PM and I'll give you my paypal addy.

It would be more Radial like a "Taco" mold. We have a tub mold but board width is much more critical and less versatile. Thanks for posting.

New board category created, SLIDE THROUGHS
Got a few of these to sell off. It's my new favorite shape. The coolest thing is that any truck "slips" into the drop through slot. No more removing the base plate.
Del Mar 11ply Flatty Slide Through (FST) decks $65 in natural, black cherry, purple grape, colonial red, m&m blue, hunter green and mud brown.

    "recessed graphic pocket"

    "just a touch of sidecut"

    "black cherry"

I wonder if the flatass were cut from a board with the right concave, if it would stand on it's own. Hmmm.

Awesome question. There will be concave boards made in this shape ready to ship next week. It will be the Taco Radial concave and there may be a few available from "Tub" concave mold after that. I'll post pics when ready.
