Looks like I may have found a good long-distance pusher deck. My size 13 flat feet love the looks of these boards.
    I break things.

I have a couple flat boards in my quiver. They have their place.
    My Quiver?

Too many boards that I don't ride enough...

Sold out of the flat slide throughs.
Almost all the boards we make are pressed maple, despite the pics that I have been posting. I cut some out of flat birch to test shapes and adjust files before making fixtures to cut out the pressed concave, drop down and double kicks boards. The Flatties don't need fixtures. So they get designed, prototyped, skated flat and put into production or dropped altogether.

    Here are some pics of the house molds;

I enjoyed both my LBL OSD, Galac Balboa and GTCPLDP despite their lack of concave. Flat boards have their place, but everything boils down to rider preference.

Love the look of those molds!

Hey Ben that speed board looks sic, nice job. Thanks for posting.

Did you guys get the files to print out ok? I just did a test print through acrobat reader 10 and it seemed to work great. If not I can tile the files before printing.

I have some concave uncut 9plys left and drop down 9plys and contour mold uncut 9 plys will be finished next week and ready to fill some orders.

We will have some 9ply taco concave slide throughs finished and ready to ride next week too. I'll post pics when ready.

Thumbs up Re: Churchill mfg: the lost longboard templates found and uncut pressed blanks!

I can vouch for the blanks and the service. As for what can you do with a flat blank? Well, here is what I did with mine. Best $35 I ever spent on wood. I just got a drop blank from Troy, waiting about a month to cut it so I can ride what I have!

The pattern is from st003. I only used 1/2 of the pattern and mirrored it to be symetrical as I liked the shape. 50 inches long 9 inches wide, some flex. Had fun making it and it was a great project. Hardest part is drilling the holes correctly.

    rrando, nicely done !!
Hole Drilling Tip: I print my drill template on that Avery label paper or the house brand, then just match the center line board and template and drill away. Always double check the template with a truck base plate to make sure it didn't change during printing and I use a 7/32 drill bit. I find this allows for variances between truck mfgs.

Thanks. Ya, AFTER drilling I remembered I had a nice Randal template that I could have printed out, plus I got stupid and forgot to check with the base plate as I drilled holes 2,3 and 4, only using the paper template I had hand made. Next day I plugged the bad ones and re-drilled using the base plate. Much better!

Now if I could just get Troy to get his web sites to work better, I could spend more money!

Just updated my PM folder. Should be up to date. Thanks guys.
"I am also interested in the double kick"
I will measure the mold and see but I think it's about 30" in between kicks.
Also putting up a video in a few of the 5 axis CNC cutting a deck.
