Might play around with different setups (wider trucks, 125mm maybe?) when I have more cash, but love the Chaser. I could live without the W concave, but if I were to put some wider trucks and do more sliding rather than pumping, the W would come more in handy. Great for garages, pedestrian slalom, and the kicktail is just right. I don't do ollies anymore, but is fun for manuals, no complies and similar tricks. Pumps really well, very lively, but still stiff at my 140 pounds. I don't find the flex to be noticeable as you would on loaded board for example, but my friend says he can see the board slightly flex when I'm pushing/pumping. Setup is a modified 100ish mm Skandal up front with trimmed seismic avalons, and a 106 tracker rts with lime zigzags in the rear. It's quite a bit more trashed than in the pic Another awesome EW deck. Can't get the picture to show right-side-up for the life of me..

All the earthwing decks will be limited editions from now on? Paybacks will continue to be made as the new drifters?
Ask this because it would be nice to have a continuous fabrication so we could continue to ride our favorite board once it's trashed

Trick with EW is to buy at least two of each board you love!

Exactly if you already know it's something you're going to love but eventually destroy, might as well just get a couple.
You'll end up saving some on shipping that way too as a bonus.

I think that's a great idea if you really get a chance to ride and abuse your decks. I used to be esp. on the lookout for rarer EW decks. In fact, I have a few EW "xtras" for sale. Really, who can destroy a mystery model? And, I'd rather someone skate my xtra OG thruster than have it sit pretty on my wall. At my slow stage in the game, I'd rather skate and retire old decks and try new models.

Anyhow, yesterday I visited a few spots and blasted curbs and parking blocks. Love beating up these Bennett Vectors just cause they've never been recommended for anything except cruising. Took a piece of that curb home too.

I worked in the outdoor retail industry for a long time, and a good rule of thumb in retail merchandise is that if you really like something it is either already discontinued or it's just about to be.

If you really like it, buy the supply you anticipate needing! It's like going to Costco, next trip it will be gone!

And that's what you get, when you grind the Bennetts. Heh they were designed before grinding was a a std move.
