I was at Joe Lehm's Santa Fe Skate School this last Saturday and saw one of your stickers on his wall. I got a little bit misty.

I wore my MHS shirt to my daughter's skate lesson on Saturday. Joe gave her his last MHS sticker as a reward for doing so well during the lesson.

    Funny.

The following night I went to see Thursday play the official Riot Fest after show. Right before Tigers Jaw played, a young lady asked who I was there to see. "Thursday," I replied. "I saw them yesterday, too." Then she says, "Yeah, my boyfriend recognized you from being up front yesterday." I saw them the last time they played Denver (opening for Taking Back Sunday), and I was not going to simply observe from the back of the crowd.

Thursday's sets were phenomenal. As good as their all-too-brief Riot Fest set was, their after show was simply amazing. Got to meet Geoff before the show, and thanked him for making music that had such a profound effect on my life. Was glad to see the band having fun on stage, and actually smiling, too. Thursday hand-picked their opening acts, and I was blown away by Tigers Jaw (sic).
