I'm already moving when I have a go at pumping, going to take some practice.
It looks a bit easier on a normal size deck, I think mines a bit short, might swop everything to my pool deck.
Have you any wedging on that ?

No wedging, it has Indy 169's with Bones softs on a deck with a 15" wheelbase. What I use at the skatepark in the bowls.

I'm far too big for softs, I've some mediums knocking about & some blag 159s or bullets. I'll have a play about setting something up, probably medium front hard rear

I've stuck a few boards back together, hopefully it's not icy in the morning & I can get out on something for a pitiful attempt at pumping.

Question about Bennett's, do you use front & rear or just front ?

Similar coin gets some 125 Randall's, are they an option ?

I have a Bennett in the front and Tracker RTS in the back on my pumping setup. I have them now on a smallish longboard and it is nice to commute on. Still very easy to pump, but I can get a reasonable speed. As you can see, it is not a LDP setup, just a fun cruiser with a kicktail so I can do manuals.

I know jack about reverse kingpin trucks like the Randall's, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but if you want to pump get a Bennett/Tracker setup. Once you learn to pump you can pump anything with the right bushings, but I have RKP trucks on my rain board and my dancer and they are more about stability and carve.

True, I can pump on my funbox world trek double drop with Paris 180 and big zigs. Is it efficient? No, but it can be done.

My pumping set-up, which I've neglected has Randal 150 50's wedged to 58 up front, 42's de-wedged to 35 in the rear. It works but will never be like bennett/randal, bennett/tracker, or poppies. It is however rather versatile for what ever I come across. The Deck is the Riviera SOS, I think I posted it in this thread before.

On one of my boards I'm running a Randall 125 with a 28* baseplate dewedged 8* with a Bennett on the front and I think it pumps better than a RTS/Bennett combo.

Still been garbage weather here so not got to go on the cruiser yet.
I've had a mess with the maestro,Paris v2s, 43 baseplate on the back with some cut up risers & a 50 BP on the front, it could do with some risers to level it out as quite front high at the minute.
For bushings I've gone 97a pink venom barrels with cupped bs washer, flat rs rear & a mix of 94a & 90a barrels with flat washers.
I'm hoping for a decent day to get out & test it.

I'm using a Randal 50deg/150mm on my cmmuting deck with a stiff TKP in the back (that one's a Carver C2, 6.5" hanger I believe) and that works great. I'm using extra fat, extra squishy bushings from Tracker Fasttracks in the Randal (they sucked in the trackers) In the Randal truck and for this purpose they shine tough.

TLR: Randal front truck for pumping? Yes, totally feasible.

There is so much info out there … is google broke? If you can't figure out how to search google … then stick to practicing your skating. Ask people to do the research for you or simply tell you the answer … isn't going to win you points … and certainly would get you fired from many jobs. Man up … and quit assuming this is a problem of people just not helping you. Many folks have … needlessly … out of niceness. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't do your own homework.

I reckon you'd be right. I really dont push much due to leg strength imbalance from an old back injury. I found it difficult to stay safely balanced on the weaker leg while pushing with the stronger (on any of my boards), as well as hard to push for long at all trying to ride switch. Awkward way to start out for a beginner I suppose, but pumping has been the main mode for now. Intentions have been to practice pushing on my lower boards as I build more skills and bring the leg strength to a better balance between them, but more recent injuries have sidelined me for a while.

DT Cybins changed the game for me when it comes to pumping. Most satisfying truck purchase ever. I'm 225 but here's my bushing setup:

Rear : Reflex 95 (black)/Riptide APS 90 (yellow) fat cone (fat side in hanger)

    Front: Reflex 80(green)/reflex 77(pink) barrels

    .650 bottoms, .750 tops

Still waiting on either gbomb or subSonic to return any of my emails. I've definitely decided to get stunting with adjustment, either cybins or a bracket. Now I suppose it's a race for whoever respond and wants business.
