Default How thick should an oak and sapele board be?

Hi guys. So I'm finnishing my longboard build. It came out really good (i think) and i don't want to ruin it. The board now only needs to be planed. It's 1 m (3,3 feet) long and around 1.9 cm (3/4 inch) thick right now and I believe it's too thick. So how thick should it be? I don't weigh too much - around 66 kg (146 lbs) and I want just a little flex. Thiking about 14 mm (a bit more than 1/2 inch). Thanks for your help.

at your weight and with that wheelbase you could probably get by a little thinner than 3/4", but I agree that 1/2" would be just a little too thin

I'd suggest planing it down in increments and putting it on a couple of scrap 2x4 pieces where the trucks go and bouncing up and down on it after each pass
