Default Oak and sapele hardwood deck build.

Hello again, friends Just wanted to thank all the people who helped me with my build and answered all my questions. You're awesome! So the deck. It turned out, in my opinion, really nice for a first build. It's around 15 mm (3/5 inch) thick and 1 m (39') long. The edges were done with a hand-held planer and a lot of sand paper, but the surface was done with a corded planer to ceep it as flat as possible. The little "art" thing came out not that great as it was done with a soldering iron xD but i kinda like it tho. The whole build took me around 3 months and more than 40 hrs of work in total to finish. I really enjoyed making it and wanted to share it with you guys. Of course to ask your opinion on the deck and what i did wrong too. Feel free to ask questions

I don't like pintails much but that board turned out very nice. Beautifully done.

Great looking board! Did you fiberglass it, or will it hold up without worrying about the grain splitting?

    Also, how does it ride?

I didn't fiberglass it. I applied a lot of pressure to the board from the sides and I didn't hear any cracks so i assumed it's fine. Also the wood is quite high quality too so all i did was varnish it. As for the way it rides i haven't had the chance to properly try it out yet since it's winter time, but when i tried it indoors it felt really nice. I was worried that it would be very stiff but it's actually quite flexy. I really hope it does ride fine.
