    Default Vicious Grip!

So I've ordered some Vicious Griptape for my board because the Blue Blood Orange Grip I had is starting to wear down. The places where my feet go often are worn down and the blue grip is seemingly permastained with mud and this other tan substance. In any case, I was pushing 25+ on this hill today and my foot slid when I tried to corner. Kinda irritated me, luckily I didn't fall.

    So a few questions.

I mean, I'm not a newbie to skating, but in regards to the world of Longboards I guess I am. I been skating before this and I have like 4 popsicle decks.

    Anyhow here are these questions,

So how does vicious react to wear over time? Like, water, mud, and other similar elements.

And how easy is vicious to cut?

Because Blood Orange did NOT want to be cut. I ended up damaging my razor and cutting my hands a bit trying to grip it and get it on there. Is all longboard grip that difficult to cut or is that a Blood Orange only thing?

You will cut your hands and also blunts blades. Use a hairdryer to make it more plyable when applying, and that'll make the cutting easier too. Wear some gloves. Skate, have fun.
Impressive selection of wood, metal and urethane goes here.

I did what you said, minus the gloves and hairdryer though

luckily i have very calloused feet lol the board came out great

i actually did a decent grip job, but to be fair it is like my 6th time gripping a board. Guess I just thought about it too much.

It was like regular grip only sharper so I did it more careful.

I did it outside on a workbench.
