Thumbs up Loaded Boards's Customer Service Is Appalling!

Their new board (Icarus) went crack after me after two months of cruising.
I filled out the request form for the warranty on their website, and also contacted the shop where I bought the board. Two weeks passed and no reaction, no one answered me or the distributor.
It's dangerous to skate on a board, since cracks are across the board, summer passes, and instead of skating I have to send them requests that they do not answer.

Those kind of cracks always happen. They will not replace it due to minor stress cracks at the drop through hole. Thats just skateboards for ya. They crack.

    Skate it.

Idk why they make the DT cutout so big, towards the center.
This is not supposed to happen. Looking at the bottom, if he keeps pumping it will get worse.. Might lead to a crash.
The board doesn't even look beaten. Faulty product, should be replaced.

Default Loaded Boards's Customer Service Is Appalling!

Did the crack start at one of the mounting holes? Maybe you tightened a screw to much. And are there soft drop through strips on your board?

But it never hurts to give Loaded a ring, and see what they say.

Funny enough, they actually started making those drop thru cut outs as deep as they are now after the first generation of
dervishes in an effort to rectify this exact issue. Having owned a first and second gen dervish and a tan tien, I can say it did make an improvement, but clearly not enough of one.

By moving it farther from the hardware and giving it some room to flex they must've thought that was providing enough relief to that area but obviously not.

My only advice would be to learn from your mistakes and next time do the research to find a brand/deck whose products speak for themselves, not their advertising. If you're serious about getting a similar board and want to be sure it's quality and will last, pay more attention to what riders are saying about the boards, and less attention to the brand's own relentless flashy marketing. A company as big as loaded is never going to come out and say "hey, be warned because our decks have a tendency to break", but the people riding them will definitely be able to tell you what's up.

Personally I would avoid the combination of bamboo/fg and drop thru mounting altogether if I wanted to be sure something
like this wouldn't be an issue.
