Met up with a friend for a short 1.5 hour sesh today. Was pretty tired so didn't go too hard but I did ollie the euro gap thing. It's very small but I couldn't do it a week ago so I'm pretty happy.

another hour sesh this morning. I have a small park that is really close to me that I hit up most days. It's often empty.

When I'm not feeling super aggressive I usually just work on front side carves / kick turns and manuals.

Two hour session today. Got some good front side 50-50 stalls on a VERY small and mellow quarter. Seems pretty lame but I was terrified of them a few months back and was able to do a bunch in a row today. Got a few to tail as well that seemed pretty fluid.

Skated with a friend that I didn't realized skated. So much better than skating alone. He's not so much better than me that I feel like I'm still skating alone. We're able to kind of push each other on some things.

Pretty mellow session today. Not feeling super aggressive so I just kind of pumped around.

Any suggestions to keep my rails from rattling? They are rib bones. I remember the screw heads being too big to fit into the holes in the 80's. Why don't they provide the correct damn sized screw?

I am pretty sure the screws are as tight as the can be without stripping the wood. But I can still hear the rails making noise when I drop the board. Or ollie, etc. It's annoying.

    Suggestions?

Rubber or small steel washers or nylon ferrules. Rubber will compress before the wood does and probably last a a good while. Steel will last forever. Or a properly sized screw. Ferrules could be tricky as they may need cutting.

under the rail / between the board?

Or under the screw head? There is NO WAY a washer is fitting under the screw provided with these rails.

Who makes good rails? and don't say Bones.

Rad railz or Assault Skates curb creeps are the best out there imo.

Put the washer wherever there is creep or between what rattles. Ideally between screw and rail but if no room then between rail and board.
