Yeah he had his own Fatboy model - the Mothershucker. He used to be an aquatic farmer, when I met him he raised clams and oysters on Cape Cod. Hence the name.

He had the Mothershucker prototype, I sent it to him for his approval. Every one we made was hand signed by Wentzle under the finish - I'd meet him somewhere and he'd sign a few, or I'd send a few to Mass and he'd sign 'em and send 'em back for finish. I have production #1. I think we sold like a dozen or 15 pieces, so they're pretty rare. I remember a few left the country. I saw one in a photo hanging on the wall in some guy's Dogtown board collection.

Just blew more cash on a skateboard than I ever have... and I'm old and bought a lot of stuff. Also fould the braces that go on these although I clearly remember not using them on the splitters I had late 70s... That said, I am pondering swapping trucks with my 8" Alva deck moving the Pros to the Bowl Rider and the splitters to the Alva 8". Wouldn't even need to change stickers to do that hahaha..

Leave the truck as is or swap them?

The GW splits would be so WRONG on that Alva deck! Leave the GW Pros on the Alva.

I was thinking about your opinion that the Bowlrider can ride lower with the splitters.. wheelbite isn't an issue on the reverse kings. So, rather than swapping trucks and running lower on the Alva, perhaps I'll swap risers with the Logan Earth Ski which has lower ruby reds and RR 4s. thicker RR riser would work on the Logan with Slalom Pros and the lower ruby reds would work better on the Bowl Rider with splitters.

Thoughts on bumping this up a little to drop the Bowl Rider down.. Both have Road Riders..

FWIW, still looking at Phoenix auctions.. Was thinking a set of Phoenix would look sweet on my Warptail... currently have mid tracks on it. If I see another pair going for under $200 I'll probably bite.

    Do it.

Or, if you want to leave the Logan alone, I've got a set of flat ruby red Rad Pad risers in 1/4" to go with the GW's.

^^^Thanks.. I'll reach out to you if I run in to trouble pulling the Slalom Pro hardware off. Ideally though, I'd like to have the Road Rider risers on the Logan since the wheels are also Road Riders. Gonna have to pull the splitters off anyway to put the braces on them so I'll be halfway there. Don't hold the rad pads for me. I doubt I'll need them.

OK it's here, less than 3 days from California.. Not bad but shipping was $37 LOL. Deck is actually in better shape than I expected.. No wear under the power pivot. Bushings are fair to good, no cracks but dry looking. Some pitting on the kingpin nuts. I swapped the risers with the Logan and added the Gullwing brackets which also arrived today. Saw NOS kingpins with bushings and hardware for $100. Gonna pass and leave her just like this. Only minor disappointment is it arrived with what appears to be a tight wrap of clear tape over the wheels to make them look shinier and totally unused. I think I'll leave it as is, looks better on the wall. I'd put other wheels on it when I decide to ride it.

Got a lap around the block just before the rain hit. This thing's soooo tight it practically pumps itself... No pushing required..
